I am a science fiction, fantasy, and horror storyteller. My sapphic short story, Long Live Anacaona Guey, was nominated for a PushCart Prize, and The Brainstitcher’s Daughter received second-place from YA VOYAGE. In addition to writing, I’ve served on the SFWA Romance Steering Committee, and am a member of SCBWI and James Rivers Writers. I was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and am inspired by my Black and Chinese heritage. My stories range from obsessive cyborgs to unrelenting, indigenous dragon keepers. But above all, my stories are about finding love even in the darkness.

When I’m not writing, I explore coffee shops, read all the kissy books I can get my hands on, and an advocate for mental health and neurodiversity. Anything related to forests, the moon, and Star Wars is my jam.
